Arts in brief: Mitchell sells art, school play

A well-known Tri-City artist who teaches at Evergreen Cultural Centre will have a day-long exhibit and sale on Saturday.

Gay Mitchell will show and sell her work at the King of Life Lutheran Church (1198 Falcon Dr., Coquitlam) on June 7 from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m.

 

SCHOOL PLAY

Students at Port Coquitlam's Minnekhada middle will present The Outsiders next Wednesday for the public.

The dramatic play, based on S.E. Hinton's popular novel that was made into a hit movie  by Francis Ford Coppola in 1983, will run at the school (1390 Laurier Ave.) on June 11 at 7 p.m.
