You know you're a good cook, but do you know you have what it takes to prove you're a great cook?

Every food-lover has at least one dish they make exceptionally well so here is your chance! Whether it's your own recipe or a family favourite, it's time to enter the $1,000 grand prize giveaway.

The winner will receive a private cooking class at Lepp Farm Market for up to eight people with in-house chefs Nick and Jason where they'll recreate the winning dish as well as provide the attendees with a selection of other dishes to try. It'll be a fun night full of great food and the winner will also walk away with a $300 shopping spree!

Contest participants must be 19 years or older to enter and there is a maximum of 300 words per recipe and a limit of five entries per person. Please include your full name, address and a daytime number where we can reach you. Also, feel free to include an original photo of your meal or you in the kitchen.

To enter, send your recipe to: ultimatedish@abbynews.com.

Good luck!
