The Valley Concert Society closes its season on Friday, May 2 in a concert featuring trumpeter Dan Kocurek and pianist Christine Eggert.

The guest artists will again be part of the pre-concert talk in the foyer from 6:50 to 7 p.m.

Also during the evening, two recipients will be awarded bursaries provided annually by the society to serious music students.

There will also be an important announcement from the society’s board of directors.

The concert begins at 7:30 p.m. at Matsqui Centennial Auditorium. Single-concert tickets, if available, are $25 and may be purchased by calling 604-289-3377.
