Street art will be on display at Coquitlam’s Place des Arts this weekend to mark Youth Arts Week.

The facility’s Youth Arts Council will launch the project on Saturday from noon to 4 p.m. and Sunday from 1 to 5 p.m.

Guests taking part can paint their creative talents — be it singing, dancing, drawing, sports or even making funny faces — on a brick in the Carré Heritage Square amphitheatre behind Place des Arts (1120 Brunette Ave.) to compose a mural; brushes and nontoxic paint are free of charge.
