Preliminary round auditions are now underway to determine who will perform in the Youth Talent Search 2014 semi-finals.

Richmond will host one of three semi-finals events, on May 25 at Richmond Cultural Centre’s Performance Hall.

The competition, designed to give youth exposure and experience in a theatre environment, is open to performers ages seven to 19.

Whether the talent is singing, dancing, playing an instrument or a variety act, the talent search gives kids the chance to shine on stage in front of top industry judges—should they make it to the finals in September.

To audition in the preliminary round, participants must upload a video to YouTube and e-mail their information to youthtalentsearchbc@gmail.com. Deadline is March 15.
