GoGo Grannies present their February Travelogue on Wednesday February 19th, at 7 p.m. in the College of the Rockies Lecture Theatre.

In 2009 John and Corrine Przeczek spent almost six weeks in Africa. The first 10 days were in Tanzania on safari with some friends from Cranbrook. The final 4 weeks were on their own in South Africa where they rented a car and travelled from Johannesburg to Cape Town. They had a number of stops and adventures along the way.

In this GoGo Granny sponsored travelogue, John and Corrine Przeczek will focus on some of the highlights of their safari and  journey through South Africa including relaxing along the Indian Ocean, having a beer at the highest pub in Africa (2874 m) and seeing the amazing diversity of animal and birdlife that only Africa can offer. Fabulous wildlife photography!

Please join the Cranbrook Grannies as they support Grandmothers in Africa.  These grandmothers have risen to become the linchpin of survival for their families and communities: they have become activists and advocates pushing for theirs and their grandchildren’s rights and protection; they are becoming small business owners in order to earn a living for their families.
