'American Hustle', '12 Years a Slave' win big at 2014 Golden Globes

American Hustle won big. 12 Years a Slave, too. Jennifer Lawrence and Cate Blanchett added to their personal collections, Leonardo DiCaprio, Matthew McConaughey, and Amy Adams entered the winners' circle, and Jared Leto's Buyers Club performance bought him his own trophy on Sunday night at the 2014 Golden Globes in Los Angeles.

McConaughey and DiCaprio took the Best Actor in a Comedy and Drama award (respectively) for Dallas Buyers Club and The Wolf of Wall Street (again, respectively).

"This is an incredible, incredible honour," said DiCaprio, during his victory speech. On stage, statue in hand, he also saluted his fellow "comedians" in his category – Christian Bale, Bruce Dern, Oscar Isaac, and Joaquin Phoenix – as well as his (longtime) director Martin Scorsese.

"You're a risk taker. You're a visionary."

His performance already acknowledged by the Hollywood Foreign Press, DiCaprio's love life and tabloid-worthy black book was also acknowledged by the evening's co-hosts.

"And now, like a supermodel's vagina, let's all give a warm welcome to Leonardo DiCaprio," said awards show co-host Tina Fey, introducing the actor after he won the Globe, so he could present Best Actress to what would eventually be Cate Blanchett.

Fey was hosting with fellow comedian and former SNL cast-mate Amy Poehler.

(*NOTE: Although DiCaprio's Oscar snubs have been discussed widely since he first rose to massive international prominence in 1997 for Titanic, he actually won a Golden Globe for Best Actor in 2005 for The Aviator.)
