Professional artists wanting to become a three-month resident at Port Coquitlam’s Leigh Square Community Arts Village next year have until Jan. 31 to apply.

Successful candidates will build up a body of work, lead workshops and demonstrations and communicate with the public about their art.

Applicants for the Leigh Square artist-in-residency program can visit portcoquitlam.ca/leighsquare (click under Get Involved and Forms) or call 604-927-8442.

Forms will be accepted by email to submissions@portcoquitlam.ca or in person at Leigh Square (1100-2254 Leigh Sq.).

Port Coquitlam photographer and painter Adrian Walker — the city’s first artist-in-residence — ends his gig on Dec. 30. He will be followed by Bernadine Fox in the new year.
