The Vancouver Canucks were naughty and nice at Wednesday night's Dice & Ice charity ball, not only forcing their rookies to sing 'I Will Remember You' with the one and only Sarah Mclachlan, but also sporting their best ugly Christmas sweaters to bestow merry wishes and glad tidings upon their fans.

The video below was posted to the Vancouver Canucks' YouTube page on Friday morning. (The Canucks also created a Christmas website and card for their fans, centered with several interactive images and videos of Vancouver's six favourite (adopted) sons in their best December 23rd office party apparel.)

The Sedin Twins and Alex Burrows wished you all a Merry Christmas in their native tongues – Swedish and French, respectively – while Kevin Bieksa admitted that all he wants for Christmas is a white Christmas.

Honestly, that sounds pretty good. But a snowy March day for the Heritage Classic makes my list, too. If 55,000 fans are going to will themselves to sit in slushy bucket seats at BC Place, we may as well make it look more Roch Carrier's The Sweater or, at the very least, the back of a blue $5 bill, eh?

If Tim Hortons is gonna sponsor the whole thing, why not make it look like a Tim Hortons coffee cup, am I right?
