New Whiz Bang Science Show at Campbell River Library
Looking for something fun to do to kick off Spring Break?
Think you might enjoy whacky science?
The Campbell River branch of the Vancouver Island Regional Library presents Glenn Kachmar and the New Whiz Bang Science Show, on Saturday, March 23 at 2 p.m.
Glenn Kachmar is a science teacher from Saanich, on leave this year, who has developed several entertaining (but scientific) shows for children.
In fact, he helped put himself through university by developing these shows.
He has also travelled widely, delighting children in Central America, the Caribbean, South Pacific and Europe with his bubble shows.
The Whiz Bang Show “has evolved into a lot of spectacular, unforgettable, crazy science experiments.”
You can check out Kachmar’s website at http://www.somethingincredible.ca/ for more photos from his fund and exciting programs.
This is a free drop-in show, most suitable for children aged six and up.
The program will last approximately one hour.
For more information, call the Campbell River Library at 250-287-3655.
The Campbell River library is located at 1240 Shoppers Row, and the VIRL website is www.virl.b.ca .
