Blue Rodeo to headline Blues Fest
Blue Rodeo will be the headliner for this year's Burnaby Blues and Roots Festival.
Produced by Burnaby city hall and Live Nation, the 14th annual festival will be held Saturday, Aug. 10 starting at 1 p.m. at Deer Lake Park.
Joining Blue Rodeo at the day-long festival will be Charles Bradley, ZZ Ward, Shakura S'Aida, Ndidi Onukwulu, David Gogo, Jon and Roy, The Sojourners, John Lee Sanders, Vince Vacarro, Brickhouse and Shaun Verreault.
The festival will expand to three stages this year. Tickets are for general admission lawn seating and the show is open to all ages.
Tickets are $65 each or four for $180 until July 1, $70 each or four for $200 from July 2 and Aug. 9 and $75 each on the day of show. They're available at www.burnabybluesfestival.com or the Shadbolt Centre for the Arts box office at 604-205-3000.
