Valley Festival Singers seek new members

Following its successful Christmas performances, the Valley Festival Singers, Abbotsford’s community choir, has announced that it is expanding.

If you are a tenor or bass and can read music, come find a friendly musical home with this talented performing choir.

Conductor and artistic director Gail Suderman would be delighted to audition you, and can be contacted by e-mail at gail@gailsuderman.com or by phone at 604-908-3194.

Established over 30 years ago, the Valley Festival Singers is an Abbotsford-based choir every community would be proud to claim as its own.

Members span generations, joining to sing a repertoire ranging from large classical works, such as Handel’s Messiah, to popular Broadway tunes.

The coming season will see the choir perform the charming and popular Liebeslieder Waltzes by Brahms along with other songs of love to complete the program.

Valley Festival Singers rehearse on Wednesday evenings from 7:30 to 9:30 p.m. at Clearbrook MB Church, located at 2719 Clearbrook Rd.
