'World's best Elvis' comes to Sid

Randy (Elvis) Friskie and his Las Vegas Show Band are including the Comox Valley on their 40th anniversary Aloha Tour.

“Randy’s not only the best; he’s the reincarnation of Elvis,” said impresario Hugh Pickett, who presented Elvis Presley at Empire Stadium in 1957.

“Randy’s the best I’ve ever seen,” added Red Robinson, Rock and Roll Hall of Fame legend.

Randy (Elvis) Friskie is touring with his band in the Real Tribute To the King of Rock and Roll — Elvis Presley.

Friskie’s spine-tingling performance brings the King to life for an entire generation of people too young to have experienced Elvis when he was alive, and for the legions of people who remember the anticipation of every new record and movie.

Friskie has been referred to as “the world’s best Elvis tribute act.” He has enviably mastered Elvis in the three exciting stages of his career, the fabulous '50s, the spectacular '60s and the sensational '70s.

The show comes to the Sid Williams Theatre on Jan. 27 at 2 and 7 p.m. Tickets are available at sidwilliamstheatre.com or at the Sid box office in Courtenay.
