'Change' for the good

The coins are rolling into the Alberni Valley News office for our annual Pennies for Presents campaign.

Pamela Robson, pictured at right, has been collecting her spare change for a few years now. She wanted to donate it somewhere that would benefit children, and said Pennies for Presents was an ideal place. All donations will be handed over to the Port Alberni Toy Run to ensure children have a good Christmas here in town.

Marilyn Cassell and a friend brought in several Ziploc bags full of pennies, for which we’re thankful.
