It's time to learn all about your library
October is Canadian Library Month, when libraries across the country highlight the valuable role they play in the lives of Canadians.
The theme this year is “Libraries Connect” as they connect people, ideas, communities and information.
You can connect with your library at the “Learn about Your Library” event, to be held at the Campbell River branch of the Vancouver Island Regional Library on Wednesday, Oct. 10 from 2-3:30 p.m. This will be an informal introduction to our website and services.
We’ll talk about the catalogue, how to request and renew library materials, show how to download music and eBooks, and find valuable online resources.
This is a free program, and there is no need to pre-register.
