Actors wanted for production

Calling all aspiring actors.

On Sept. 6, 7 and 8 at 7 p.m the Shuswap Theatre will be holding open auditions for its fall production.

The play, entitled Renovation - A Work in Progress, is another original play by Peter Blacklock, who also wrote this year’s Haney Dinner Theatre production The Mystery of Dutch Charlie. There are roles for males and females from teen to granny (or grandpa). All characters will need to sing, not necessarily solo but at least as part of a chorus. Most important is an open mind, enthusiasm and the desire to be part of the creative process.

At the audition participants will be asked to present a short piece from the script (cold) and to sing in a group or solo. The play will run from Nov. 4 to 12. For more information, call Peter at 250-675-3004.
