Esquimalt launches new website

What's blue and white and read all over?

The Township of Esquimalt's new website.

The municipality launched its redesigned site Oct. 1. The site allows browsers to receive news from the municipality, contact appropriate staff and learn more about the area.

"Improving communication with residents and updating the municipal website have been priorities of this council," Esquimalt Mayor Chris Clement stated in a press release.

"We are proud to see the launch of the new website, which will improve our level of service for residents and help us market the municipality to tourists, new employees, residents and businesses."

In the future, the municipality intends to implement other online services, including Recreation and Parks program registration.

Until Oct. 31, web browsers can enter a chance to win a six-month recreation pass on the new website. Please visit the site at www.esquimalt.ca.
