Duck Paterson. His mom called him Donald. Duck spent most of his early years in Port Alberni where, after graduation, he started working in newspaper at the Alberni Valley Times in 1970. He's been at the Bulletin since 1990 when he was asked by Roy Linder to become production manager. Duck has been a Councillor for the Town of Ladysmith since 1990 and has served on every Town committee and has chaired many.

Sean McCue took over as sales manager for the News Bulletin in July 2008. He's been an important contributor to the newspaper's success for 13 years prior, leading and participating in numerous community events.
     
Maurice  Donn Publisher

Maurice Donn has been in the publishing business for almost 30 years. Currently the publisher of the Nanaimo News Bulletin and News Bulletin Daily, Maurice moved to Nanaimo in June 2008 with his wife and two sons and is very active in the business community, sitting on several committees and boards. He coaches minor league hockey and plays Old Timer's hockey in Nanaimo.
