The good and the bad of this week in Cowichan for Oct 15

This we like

It’s not new news that our community has taken great footsteps in the area of culinary tourism.

But it is great to see the strides we have made are starting to be recognized outside out borders.

To the growers, the chefs and the entrepreneurs that are making this happen, keep up the good work.

Nice to see being recognized for having good taste at last.

This we don’t

It was nice to see in our weekend paper that many of those who work serving the public hear thank yous from that public all the time.

It was disappointing to see that fully 90 per cent of those responding to our web poll are not seeing things the same way.

We’re all busy, but we should never be too busy to say those words at every opportunity.

They may make somebody’s day.
