ShareMemories come to light at CDH
November 27, 2008The Christmas Light-up A Life tradition at Cowichan District Hospital is back for another year of memories.
Gathering more families each year, the Dec. 3 On Wednesday, event consists of a brief ceremony with words and music, followed by an opportunity to light a bulb on the Christmas trees in front of Cowichan District Hospital in memory of a loved one who has died.
The ceremony starts at 6 p.m. and is followed by a reception with Christmas treats and hot drinks. Cowichan Valley Hospice volunteers support families attending the event.
This year Chemainus Health Care Centre will start its own tradition of Christmas Light Up also at 6 p.m, on Dec. 3.
