A crowd of about 6,000 aviation buffs gathered at Boundary Bay Airport for the 5th annual Boundary Bay Air Show on Saturday (June 20).

Presented at no charge by the Corporation of Delta and Alpha Aviation—lease holders of the facility—it featured plenty of vintage aircraft and a special appearance by a CF-18 fighter plane piloted by Maj. Kingsley Vogan—call sign 'Midas'—from CFB Cold Lake in Alberta.

The jet concluded the show with a noisy take off and slow fly past the spectators.
