Zombies don't care for sidewalks.

An undead horde ignored the laws of the living as it paraded through the streets of downtown Nelson on Saturday. A pair of Nelson police officers watched helplessly as the dead trudged through intersections moaning at anyone with a pulse.

The annual Zombie Walk, organized by the Civic Theatre, featured deceased Nelsonites who crawled out of their graves to celebrate the spooky season. A band of corpses provided music during the march, because zombies are nothing without a soundtrack.
