The Kootenay Rhythm Dragons dragon boat team took part in the Vernon Dragon Boat Races on Saturday.

The KRD Club placed third overall and in the A Women’s Final.

Coach Cath Little commended the squad’s efforts.

Once more the KRD grouping of the two teams — Sisters in Sync and Ladies of the Lake — proved to be a winner.

So far it has been a great season for the locals, and it isn’t over yet.

The next competition is in Penticton on September 5 to 7. Both squads have been entered to compete at the event.
