Staples Cranbrook is proud to sponsor their 9th Annual Back to School Supply Drive. This event is currently underway and will continue to September 8, 2014

Each year Staples partners with local organizations to help kids in need receive the tools they need to succeed. This year’s organizations are the Big Brothers and Sisters and the Boys and Girls Club. We are looking for corporate sponsors to help us raise enough funds to purchase 1500 backpacks with the appropriate school supplies for all of the less fortunate in Cranbrook and surrounding area from Kindergarten thru Grade 12. Please help us make dreams happen.

As part of this fundraising we will be having a barbecue/bake sale/ car wash to help raise funds for this event outside our store on Friday, August 22, 2014 from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. The cost of these events will be by donation.

A silent Auction will also start August 22 and will run thru September 8, 2014. A few of the items up for auction include an Ipad mini, Kootenay Ice tickets, large pizzas, a nights stay at the Sandman Hotel with breakfast the next morning… just to name a few. Come into Staples frequently to check the status of your bid.

Local youth from Big Brothers and Sisters and Boys and Girls Club will be in store to lend a helping hand throughout the campaign
