Beat the heat today with a yummy Blizzard treat and feel good about it because all proceeds earned at the Terrace and Kitimat Dairy Queen locations will go to B.C. Children's Hospital. It's Miracle Treat Day!

The walls of the downtown store are lined with hundreds of balloons showing how supportive Terrace is when it comes to children and ice cream.

So far, the Terrace store has raised over $13,000, explained owner William deHoog, and he's expecting to beat last year's record seeing as how the store has been busy since it opened at 11 a.m. Stay tuned for final numbers.
