Hospice ride Aug. 16

The annual Motorcycle Ride for Mission Hospice Society will be Aug. 16, with riders leaving the Historic Dewdney Pub at 10 a.m.

The ride heads east to Harrison Hot Springs and back, with an estimated return time to the pub by 1 p.m. for lunch.

Bike and rider tickets are $25 and include lunch, put on by the Mission Elks. Passengers are an extra $20.

Enter to win a 2014 Harley Davidson Softail Slim. Tickets are $20 and available at the hospice society's location at 32180 Hillcrest Ave., or Steel Horse Motorcycle Gear, 7282 Horne St.
