Big Brothers Big Sisters Fraser Valley hosted its Local Heroes daycamp in Mission last week, with help from the local RCMP and Mission Fire/Rescue Service.

The group of children were able to spend two days with Mission RCMP and two days with the fire department. Local Heroes is a daycamp were police officers and firefighters mentor the children on the waitlist for a Big Brother/Big Sister. For more information, visit mentoringworks.ca.
