Aldergrove's Weins family wins Centennial trophy

Rob Wein of Clearview Horticultural Products in Aldergrove received the Aldergrove Agricultural Association's Centennial trophy on behalf of his family at the Aldergrove Fair on Saturday, July 19.

Founded in 1970, the family business mainly specializes in growing clematis varieties for the gardening market.

Rob's grandfather, Fred Wein, remains involved in the business as does Rob's father, Rob Sr., however, young Rob is stepping up to keep the business going and growing.

After graduating from university with relevant degrees, young Rob has worked full-time at the business for the past four years and has applied his knowledge and skills in eliminating all pesticides use on the farm.
