Xplorer program special event at Fort Langley National Historic Park

The new Parks Canada Xplorers program for children aged six to 12 can be checked out Thursday at Fort Langley National Historic Site.

From 10 a.m. to 5 p.m., there is a launch party with fun activities, free tattoos, and a souvenir lunch bag for the first 50 participants. Regular admission fees apply.

Family members can try the program with some ramped-up activities, including a visit from Parka the Parks Canada mascot. Detail at http://www.pc.gc.ca/eng/lhn-nhs/bc/langley/activ/activ2.aspx.
