Although Michael Christianson, CLU CH FC of Sun Life Financial left his position as a member of the board with East Kootenay Foundation for Health last year, his commitment to supporting health care has stayed steadfast.

Last week Michael presented EKFH’s Executive Donna Grainger with a gift $500 as part of Sun Life Financial’s volunteer recognition program.

As a Financial Advisor, he understands how important a gift to health care can be.  “I am proud to continue to support the philanthropic work of EKFH.  Each and every donation it receives really does make a difference to fund medical equipment, programs and/or patient comforts,” explains Christianson.

The EKFH board of directors set its own goal to be a group of community-minded and philanthropic individuals that want to leave something behind after serving on the board.   It safe to say, Michael Christianson is doing just that.
