Learn to compost

The Regional District of North Okanagan will hold a free garden workshop.

The event takes place Wednesday at 7 p.m. at the Xerindipity Demonstration Garden in Polson Park, and Dave Weatherill will speak about composting.

All workshop attendees will be entered in a draw for a free composter.

The public can visit the Xerindipity Demonstration Garden, next to the Okanagan Science Centre. It is open during regular Polson Park hours, seven days a week from May until October.

The third free garden workshop, permaculture in action, is scheduled for Aug. 13 at 7 p.m.
