Wide loads coming through Langford and Colwood this week

Vehicle traffic on two of Langford and Colwood's main thoroughfares will be slowed down during lunch hour starting tomorrow (July 2).

Knight-Way Mobile Haulers have obtained a permit to use a wide load trailer truck to transport sections of modular prefabricated buildings along east along Veterans Memorial Parkway, onto Goldstream Avenue to Wale Road, across the Old Island Highway to Ocean Boulevard and down onto DND property at Belmont Road.

The proposed schedule sees one unit transported every day at noon from July 2 to 8, with an additional load being carried to the site on July 3 at 10 p.m.
