Three Sikh temples to host booth at Berrybeat Festival

Three Abbotsford Sikh temples will join forces to host a booth at this year’s Historic Downtown Abbotsford Berrybeat Festival.

“I believe that this is a very important step to showcase the diversity of Abbotsford,” said Surjit Atwal, community outreach co-ordinator for Darryl Plecas, in a press release.

The 33rd annual Berrybeat Festival takes place July 5 and 6.

“I am excited that for the first time the Sikh community will be showcased at the Berrybeat Festival,” said Abbotsford Downtown Business Association executive director Tina Stewart.
