Carstar launches Random Acts of Shineness Tour

A national automotive repair franchise, Carstar, has launched a Random Acts of Shineness Tour, which landed in Abbotsford on Monday.

The tour seeks to recognize and reward passionate Canadians who go above and beyond the call of duty to help others.

A pair of tour ambassadors were at the corner of Essendene Avenue and Montrose Avenue playing musical instruments, shining cars and encouraging residents to nominate local shining stars.

From June to September, nominations can be registered at actsofshineness.com, or via Carstar’s Facebook page.

Those nominated stand a chance to win a $2,500 prize, and a $2,500 donation to a charity of their choice.
