Two students gain Community Justice Initiative scholarships

Two Langley graduates have received scholarships from Community Justice Initiatives.

Catrina Thomas is graduating from Langley Fine Arts School, and Alicia Harris is graduating from Langley Secondary.

Both have been active members of their school’s restorative action team, and have acted as mentors.

They have applied restorative justice principles in dealing with disciplinary situations, promoting safety, respect and inclusion.

CJI has worked with Langley School District to set up the program.
