Langley Rotary clubs present 12th annual Tip'n taste event

The Rotary Clubs of Langley are inviting members of the public to the 12th annual Tip’n Taste event.

It gives members of the public a chance to sample wine, craft beer, cider and coolers, and also check out food samples from local restaurants.

Over the 12 years of the event, it has raised almost $200,000, with all proceeds supporting community services.

Each of the participating clubs donates to the charities of their choice. For example, the Rotary Club of Langley Central donated $10,000 to Big Brothers Big Sisters, plus over $3,000 to other Rotary Community Service projects last year.

Tickets are $25 each and are available online, at www.tipntaste.com. Each ticket entitles the holder to five tastings and five food samples.

The event takes place on Friday, July 4 at the Cascades Casino and Convention Centre in Langley (20393 Fraser Highway).

It runs from 6 to 9:30 p.m.

Ticket holders also have a chance in the 50/50 draw and at various door prizes.
