Strike camps for kids at Evergreen

In response to the planned BC Teachers’ Federation strike next week, Evergreen Cultural Centre is offering day-long camps for kids 6-11, June 17 to 26. The camps will run 9 a.m.to 3 p.m. daily, with optional aftercare available 3-5 p.m.

Children will explore the worlds of drama, mixed media, drawing, painting, and more, in age-appropriate classes taught by professional visual and performing arts instructors. The camps are structured on a day-to-day basis to provide parents with flexible options.

The cost is $50 a day with $15 a day for after care. Registration should be made as soon as possible at the Box office at
