PacificSport and B.C. Summer Games team up for free coaching clinic

PacificSport and the 2014 Nanaimo B.C. Summer Games are teaming up to offer a free coaching certification course this weekend.

The National Coaching Certification Program, a two-day workshop, will take place Saturday and Sunday (June 14-15) from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. in room 213 at building 356 at Vancouver Island University.

The workshop will focus on developing education skills, mental training skills and offer advice on how to design a basic sport program.

Seating is limited and priority will be offered to summer games volunteers, as PacificSport and B.C. Summer Games' aim is to promote the development of coaches in the region.
