Carving out Aboriginal History Month

Celebrate National Aboriginal History Month with aboriginal artist-in-residence Darlene Allison on June 11 from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. at the George Mackie Library, 8440 112 St.

A member of the Sandy Bay Ojibway First Nation, Allison is a self-taught artist who focuses on carving alabaster and soapstone.
