Civic Theatre hosts open house

Nelson Civic Theatre's open house is taking place today (Saturday May 31) until 3 p.m.

Visitors can enjoy free popcorn, watch some short movies and sign up for a membership.

Current members can renew their memberships as well.

Organizers said more than 30 new and returning members had signed up in the first 90 minutes.
