Everyone gets to be a kid at the Surrey Children's Festival

Lisa Sars (above) from The Nylon Zoo takes kids on a costumed adventure around Bear Creek Park during the 10th-annual Surrey International Children’s Festival Thursday afternoon.

Below right, ventriloquist Neale Bacon entertains kids with one of his crazy critters, and Ella Bower, 8, tries stilt walking with the help of Childrens festival and Kwantlen Park Cirque Surrey volunteer Lexi Calbery at Bear Creek Park Thursday afternoon.

The children's festival continues through Saturday (May 24) with ticketed and free events and activities in Bear Creek Park and Surrey Arts Centre (13750 88 Ave.)
