The Sidney Street Market kicks off tomorrow evening and will run until the end of August.

The market is run by organizer Laurie McDermid of Westcoast Impressions Event Planning who was appointed the new organizer of the market last fall.

This year, the market is starting earlier by two weeks and will run until Aug. 28.

The Sidney Street Market is one of the largest of its kind in the province attracting 3,000 to 5,000 visitors each week.

In 2013, just over 150 vendors lined Beacon Avenue each Thursday evening offering art work, produce, musical entertainment and more.

For more information on vendors and weekly entertainment visit the Market’s Facebook page at facebook.com/SidneyStreetMarket.
