Rotary hosts International food festival May 3

Enjoy a meal of many cultures at the Rotary Club of Burnaby's International Food, Music and Fun event on Saturday, May 3.

The event runs from 5:30 to 9:30 p.m. at Burnaby Central secondary's commons area, 6011 Deer Lake Parkway. It features dishes from around the world, music from Trinidad and dances from India.

Culinary delights will be prepared in partnership with members of the Rotary Club and students of the Burnaby school district's professional cooks training program.

Net proceeds of the event will be donated to the Rotary House, which provides support to its severely disabled residents, and a bursary for students of the cooks training program.

Tickets are $40 per person and a limited number will be available at the door. Info:
