Volunteers mark Earth Day by planting trees

Volunteers and students at Abbotsford Christian School, celebrated Earth Day on Tuesday by planting indigenous species in Willband Creek Park, located at Bateman Road and Highway 11.

The tree planting was funded after the Abbotsford-Mission Nature Club and the City of Abbotsford received a grant from TD Bank to plant native shrubs and tree species and remove invasive species.
