Carnival at Nelson's Cornerstone

Back by popular demand, Cornerstone Children's Centre is hosting its second annual carnival fundraiser Saturday.

The non-profit daycare is transformed into a wonderland of balloons, carnival games, sweet treats and fun.

From penny pinch to tame the flame operated by the Nelson Fire Department to dino dig and airplane toss, kids of all ages are playing along.

There are lots of prizes for each game as well as a door prize. Tickets are $0.50 each and all funds go to support daycare renovations.

The carnival continues until 3 p.m. and is at 611-5th Street in Fairview.
