Fort Rodd Hill tent-cabins now up for the booking

Parks Canada’s online reservation system is open for the 2014 outdoor recreation season.

Included on the list of options available, for people looking for everything from extreme camping adventures to comfortable lodgings, are the tent-cabins at Fort Rodd Hill in Colwood.

The five oTENTiks are tucked just outside the main fort compound. They are designed to accommodate up to six people and allow visitors to comfortably experience nature and history together. The set-up is taken care of and campers need only bring their sleeping bags and food.

Among the other bookable getaways on Parks Canada’s list are space on the West Coast Trail, campsites sprinkled through the Gulf Islands and the Pacific Rim National Park Reserves. For more information, visit pccamping.ca.
