A Prom-themed fundraiser on Saturday raised money to provide music lessons for local youth who may not be able to afford them.

The Devon Clifford Music Foundation held a carnivalesque evening, including a lip sync competition, games, comfort food, raffles, a craft beer sampling, and a short documentary about the work the foundation is doing with Abbotsford's young musicians.

The money raised will go towards providing music lessons, band camps, and other opportunities to young people who might otherwise not experience the fun, mentorship, and community that music affords them.
