A Canadian comedy legend will perform at a Port Coquitlam improv club next month.
Kids in the Hall founder Kevin McDonald — a Gemini-award winner for writing and acting — will return to Second Storey Theatre for a special show on Saturday, March 8.
McDonald will start with a stand-up routine, which will be followed by sketch comedy. And he will wrap up the night by improvising with Second Storey’s main stage cast.
“Even if you grew up religiously watching Kids in the Hall, Kevin will surprise you,” said Graham Myers, company owner and artistic director, in a release. “There’s something exciting and hilariously uncanny about never knowing what he’ll do next.
"I’m honoured to have him play on our stage again.”
Tickets at $15 are available online at sst.com or at the door for $20. The event contains adult content and may not be suitable for children.
