The combination of savvy shoppers and dedicated volunteers pays off.

The Rossland Health Care Auxiliary donated Thrift Store proceeds of $17,942 to purchase new equipment at Kootenay Boundary Regional Hospital. Departments receiving funding include emergency, intensive care unit, medical, operating room and daycare.

Lisa Pasin, director KBRH Health Foundation, accepts the funds from Joan Hanson, newly appointed president of the Rossland Health Care Auxiliary.
