On February 6th, the Tamarack Shopping Centre Merchants and administration office participated in National Sweater Day by wearing sweaters to work and turning down the heat by 2 degrees Celsius. The outside temperature low was minus 30 degrees that day so participants had no problem wearing extra layers to work. Some employees wore coats, hats, mitts and scarves in addition to sweaters so they would stay warm. Bentall Kennedy Canada (Tamarack Centre’s Management company) employees across Canada, also partook in the one day initiative to help reduce environmental impacts and in support for action on climate change.
